Storm Planning and Communications for Utilities
November 12-13, 2024 | Online :: Central Time
As the changing weather patterns create more storms of increased severity across the country and continue impacting utilities like never before, emergency planners are under incredible pressure to plan for the unknown. How a utility responds during a major storm and what they communicate can make or break its relationships with customers, regulators, and state and government officials. We will review how utilities can adapt to these emergencies while giving tangibles of how to prepare, plan, and communicate for a storm as well as managing the incident as it is happening. This course will provide tools for utilities so they can better plan, prepare, and respond to the next major storm.
Join us to:
- Demystify what is needed to prepare for increasingly stronger storms
- Gain what it means to have a successful storm response
- Boost your team’s storm response time with this course
