Due to recent high temperatures and energy demands in California, Tesla’s new virtual power plant (VPP) had its first emergency response event, which was a success and helped to pool power from Powerwall owners to power the grid. Electricity has always been essential for anyone in the modern day, and when the power goes out in a home, it can be an absolute nightmare. Well, the power grid can and will go out from time to time for various reasons and how a city goes about handling the issue is a problem that now can be potentially solved with VPPs as more are developed and used in towns across the country, offering a cleaner way to support the grid during emergencies.
